The inaugural Agile Encore Auckland conference was held on 8 November with the Assurity and Rally stand showcasing their partnership.

The conference featured the latest case studies, challenges and solution stories on Agile adoption in Australia and NZ. “It was great to hear real-life war stories” said Assurity’s Gillian Clark. “We also all learnt lots of tricks and tips from people at the ‘coal face’”.

Delegates heard presentations on building teams, project management, hiring for agility and adopting and scaling Agile. They also had the opportunity to network with more than 100 like-minded people from companies such as GE Capital, Xero and Vodafone, each at different stages of their Agile journey.

Gillian and Craig Langenfeld spoke at the conference challenging the myth that ‘Agile is only for small projects’. Their aim was to demonstrate how using frameworks such as SAFe allows enterprises to dispel this myth with confidence.

Visitors to the Assurity and Rally stand took away the Enterprise Agility Field Guide, packed with information about Agile practices and lessons learnt.
