Gojko Adzic returns to NZ in April to deliver two two-day workshops – Specification By Example and his brand new seminar – User Stories – How to Get More Value Out of Them.

Gojko, a strategic software delivery consultant who works with ambitious teams to improve the quality of their software products and processes, first visited NZ as a keynote speaker at AgileNZ Conference in 2014 where he also delivered two workshops that topped and tailed the sell-out Conference. Gojko specialises in Agile|Lean quality improvement, in particular Agile testing, Specification By Example and Behaviour Driven Development.

Back by popular demand, Gojko then made a return visit last February to deliver two workshops on Specification By Example and Impact Mapping.

The 2016 workshops are:

Specification By Example

  • 4-5 April – Christchurch
  • 12-13 April – Auckland

This two-day workshop based on facilitated exercises and discussion is for delivery team members who work mainly in iterative delivery. Based on his books Specification By Example and Bridging the Communication Gap, key learning outcomes include how to extend specifications with examples to create a single source of truth for testing and development and how to avoid functional gaps and inconsistencies in specifications and tests.

User Stories – How to Get More Value out of Them

  • 6-7 April – Christchurch
  • 8&11 April – Wellington
  • 14 April – Auckland

In this new two-day workshop, Gojko presents several simple, yet effective ways that industry-leading teams apply to make their user stories much more effective. Attendees will learn how to ensure that things coming into their work streams are defined well, split to be small enough but valuable, and achieve the big benefits of adaptive planning you can expect from great user stories. The workshop is based on his books Fifty Quick Ideas to Improve your User Stories and Impact Mapping
