Dan Teo and David Morris – two of NZ’s leading Agilists and Transformation specialists – have joined Assurity.

Dan Teo

Dan joins Assurity to take up the role of Senior Agile|Lean Consultant and Agile Service Lead for the Auckland office. He brings with him more than six years of IT experience – three years implementing enterprise-wide Agile organisational change, two years’ IT management experience and two years in software engineering. Dan also previously worked for IAG and Zeacom.

"It's great to be able to bring my experience in Agile|Lean to help New Zealand organisations be more competitive locally and globally” he says. “The shift in power from seller to buyer in the past decade has meant there is an increased pressure on organisations to focus on delighting their customers. Agile|Lean practices provide a great foundation to help organisations meet these new challenges".

Dan’s professional qualifications include a Masters in Engineering Management, Certified Professional in Agile Team Facilitation – ICAgile, Scaled Agile Framework Program Consultant, Professional Scrum Master I and Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt.

"Joining Assurity, I am privileged to be partnering with a team of like-minded people, whose core ambition is to use the skills and experience they have to make real difference in NZ".

David Morris

An experienced Agile practitioner, coach and leader, David has joined Assurity as Senior Agile Consultant from Sophorum. He brings more than 30 years’ experience, "rocking Agile practices" for 20 of those. His mission is to help organisations become more responsive, more competitive, more profitable – and great places to work.

"As New Zealand businesses look to compete more effectively in NZ and internationally, it’s critical that they take advantage of leading thinking in all fields of management practice.

“Assurity is uniquely placed to coach and advise businesses as they plan how to improve and transform to meet disruptions across digital channels, customer experience and international trading”.

David is a Certified Scrum Master, ICAgile Certified Professional and Certified BA Professional. He’s currently studying for an MBA at the University of Auckland.

“My drive to supporting and expanding the influence of business agility is well-suited to the team and environment at Assurity. I am excited by the opportunity to contribute to the work of improving and transforming NZ Inc.".
