We're excited to be celebrating our 15th year since starting Assurity. We warmly welcome you to celebrate with us on 12 November at the Royal NZ Yacht Squadron, Auckland.

During the event, Garth Hamilton, CEO of Assurity Consulting, will be sharing our new business strategy, market offerings and how we help our clients thrive in the fast-changing digital world.

No year has changed as fast as 2020. COVID-19 has presented yet another layer of complexity on top of most organisations’ in-flight change agenda. We're extremely honoured to have Angus Luffman, Managing Director NZ of Equifax, who will share how his team have adapted to the new norm, the challenges they faced, solutions developed and how they pivot and transform their operations while still keeping a customer-centric lens to achieve the desired outcomes.

Angus Luffman, Managing Director NZ, Equifax

Angus Luffman was appointed as Managing Director for Equifax New Zealand in January 2018. Previously he was the Senior GM of Consumer Products, based in Sydney. During his 18 years with the company, Angus has worked across a range of functions, including corporate finance, major programmes and investor relations.

Angus has deep experience in running data exchanges and extensive knowledge in the use of data and analytics to enable better credit decisions across the credit risk lifecycle, playing a pivotal role in both the company and industry transition to positive credit reporting in Australia.

Earlier in his time with the company, he led a range of programmes including mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and investor relations. He also established the business planning/MIS and PMO disciplines for better execution of the Veda growth strategies.

He is now leading the transformation of our NZ business, leveraging his passion for the use of data to digitise and simplify decisions, enabling customer growth and better experience for end consumers.


Garth Hamilton, CEO, Assurity

As the CEO and co-founder of Assurity Consulting (Assurity), Garth Hamilton is responsible for running all facets of the business including company strategy. Garth is passionate about improving the delivery of software and co-founded Assurity to fulfill that passion. He has a proven executive management track record and over 30 years of experience successfully starting, growing and leading IT services and software companies in New Zealand.

Prior to starting Assurity Consulting, Garth was the Deputy CEO and Wellington General Manager at Fronde (previously Synergy International), responsible for the growth and development of Fronde’s software development business.

Garth holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Operations Research from the University of Canterbury.
