The accelerating rate of technology change puts New Zealand businesses under increasing pressure to adapt at faster rates – and in competition with global players. We help organisations embrace the benefits that change offers to give them the best opportunity to survive and thrive. We help clients innovate the products that customers will love, modernise technology to enable delivery of those products at pace and develop a high-performance culture that allows businesses to respond and adapt.
With more than 260 passionate and skilled staff across New Zealand, our teams work to deliver sustainable, strategic change that accelerates the ability of organisations to compete in these exciting and challenging times.
About the Team
Our DevOps team are expert practitioners who are leaders in the community. They have a passion for “paying it forward”, most are involved in DevOpsDays or bootcamps for students as well as developing education courses that really help our clients change for the better.
You’ll find them a team of open and honest communicators, committed to growing psychologically safe environments. Coming from a wide variety of backgrounds, they have the experience that comes from that.
Some of what you will do
You’ll be working with our clients to help them into the modern age of technology and help future proof their technology strategy. You'll be comfortable with coaching and training our clients as well as implementing solutions with them. You’ll be elevating the skills of the DevOps community, sharing your knowledge and experience and you’ll do this by immersing yourself in our client's teams.
This role brings variety and whilst platforms will be your main focus you’ll also spend time on client site helping them understand how we can help them.
What you’ll bring with you
You’ll have demonstrated experience helping teams to improve the speed of software delivery, standing up infrastructure as code, creating deployment pipelines and building monitoring solutions.
Our aim is to leave our clients in a much better position than when we joined them, so it’s important you can demonstrate how you’ve mentored others so they have built capability to identify and troubleshoot issues independently. You understand the value of pair programming and are happy to spend the time doing this.
