Simon Holbrook, Head of Design & Innovation, Assurity

Simon is a futurist, strategist and innovation leader sought out for his creativity and vision. His expertise is the application of human-centred design and design-thinking processes to deliver commercial results. Simon’s passion is unlocking innovation through the exploration of user experience and early-stage prototype development.

Simon has years of experience putting design-led thinking to use in a diverse range of industries and possesses detailed, real knowledge in how to apply design-led innovation to businesses, start-ups and organisations. His unique approach to innovation, adapted design-led thinking methodologies and coaching skills dedicated to disruptive product and service innovation. Simon is curious about big data, life-logging and thinking machines, with an interest as to how these might combine to create a new era of artificially intelligent services.

Simon’s extensive commercial and academic background spans both the public and private sectors. He is a highly-skilled facilitator and has coached executive education for Stanford University’s school.
