Aliona Cusnir, Senior Test Manager, Assurity Consulting

Aliona has over ten years of experience helping organisations mitigate quality risks and deliver value to their customers as a quality assurance and testing consultant.

Before moving to New Zealand in 2015, Aliona established herself as a manager in testing with a consultancy in Eastern Europe.

In the first few years in Wellington, Aliona worked with Qual IT in Wellington as a service delivery consultant. The great thing about it was that this role allowed Aliona to help multiple clients at once, while learning a lot about the state of testing and IT in general in New Zealand and Wellington specifically.

After joining Assurity almost four years ago, she worked as a Test Manager with Inland Revenue, as part of Business Transformation. In her current role with IR, Aliona is breaking away from testing and into the exciting new world of data analysis and business optimisation.

Lauryn Hill, Test Engineer, Assurity Consulting

Lauryn has an honours degree in mechatronics engineering and a masters in engineering management. She joined Assurity at the beginning of 2020 through the graduate program. After spending four weeks training in the graduate program she joined the Assurity test team at Inland Revenue. She worked at IR for over a year, as part of the central automation team, maintaining and developing test assets.

She then moved to the Tertiary Education Commission where she is currently placed. There she has taken part in manual exploratory testing as well as creating and maintaining test automation assets for both API and UI testing. She also contributes to devops and deployments.

Justine Denize, Head of Partnered Services, Assurity Consulting

Justine Denize has been a part of the Wellington IT scene for over 20 years and has a passion for delivering quality outcomes for customers.

Justine joined Assurity as a Senior Test Manager, before moving into a Branch Leadership role as the Test Practice Lead.  Her current role as Head of Partnered Services is all about providing exceptional delivery to Assurity’s customers – large or small, and much of that is about having the right people.

Justine began her career as a Business Analyst with IBM.  Recognising the opportunities and variety that testing could provide, she moved into the Quality Assurance space and spent 10 years delivering projects across various industries and sectors.

Her passion for all things testing remains, and she continues to be a strong advocate for the value and insight that test professionals bring.
