Assurity & UiPath l 24 February | Lunch Event

MAKE Your PROCESS Automation WORK

Hear first-hand how you can automate highly complex and manual processes and let your team focus on strategic work.

Join our team of experts as they share how you can plan and execute a proven solution to automate complex and time-consuming manual processes.

About the lunch event

Most companies struggle with executing process automation programmes effectively. This is because there are a lot of nuances involved in automating a process and if the business process owners don't focus on these and conveyed them to the developer accurately, the result tends to be automating the wrong things and unable to achieve the return on investment in process automation solutions.

The business information flows at SBT Marketing (a subsidiary of Taranaki Bio Extracts) were excessively reliant on manual data exchange. The organisation has big deliverables in terms of what they want to achieve with digitisation, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is a part of their journey to accelerate business performance.

Who should attend

If you are planning to jump on the bandwagon on process automation and keen to learn first-hand what are the do's and don'ts in ensuring process automation success, this lunch event is ideal for you.

  • How the team at SBT Marketing reduced the time to execute a sales contract / purchase order from 10 minutes to 2-3 minutes?
  • The dos' and don'ts when embarking on a process automation journey
  • Understanding the best practice frameworks in process automation.

Andrew Buhler
Sales & Marketing Manager
SBT Marketing (a subsidiary of Taranaki Bio Extracts)

Andrew has spent more than two years with the Agricultural Export business of Taranaki Bio Extracts, which is responsible for the logistics of getting the business group’s products to markets all around the world.

Taranaki Bio Extracts is a 50:50 joint venture between ANZCO Foods Ltd and SBT Group. It operates like an SME sized business mainly due to the size in terms of number of people working in the business, however, the processes and operations are highly complex considering the international coverage the business needs to cover. Opportunities were identified in the early stages to streamline existing manual and labour-intensive business processes, and this has led to an on-going project alongside the business as usual activity to improve business information flow within Taranaki Bio Extracts.

Born and bred in Taranaki and from a farming family, Andrew's background is Agricultural based having previously managed dairy farms and worked in finance lending to farming businesses.  In his spare time, Andrew actively participates in the social arena through multiple sport activities and maintains an interest in the family farming business.  Andrew is highly passionate to improve the company's business processes to ensure the longevity and sustainability of the business which strives to maximise the value of agricultural products and provide a better return to New Zealand farmers.
