Assurity has partnered with GHD as the innovation lead at the 2019 Building Nations Symposium (21-23 Aug). It’s New Zealand’s biggest infrastructure conference, attended by senior leadership across government and enterprise. The focus for this year’s conference is ‘Building Regions’.
Our partnership with GHD involves running a fast-paced, practical and immersive half-day workshop for participants to explore how human-centred design can be applied to drive economic and social outcomes to help our regions thrive.

The workshop is the first of its kind at the Building Nations Symposium and will focus on developing solutions for a specific challenge facing our regions – a challenge that we need your help to identify.
We’ve created a short, five-question survey open to everyone that will allow us to choose that genuinely relevant challenge. By completing the survey, you’ll also be entered into a draw to win an Amazon Alexa.

If you’re attending the conference and keen to collaborate with design experts from Assurity and GHD’s Innovation team using insights gained before and during the conference, sign up for this unique, interactive session on the morning of Friday 23 August.
You’ll have the opportunity to put theory into practice and explore how human-centred design can be used to improve outcomes of your infrastructure investment and solve dynamic city challenges.
Once we’ve conducted the workshop, we’ll create a summary/insights report to share with attendees and publish it online. We expect this to be early September and will announce it on our social channels.
