Cloudbees launches Cloudbees Jenkins Distribution

Date: 03 July 2019

One of our valued partners, CloudBees – the number one company behind Jenkins – has recently announced CloudBees Jenkins Distribution (CJD).

CJD is a free offering that provides development teams with a highly dependable, secure, Jenkins environment built on the most recent supported Jenkins Long-Term Support (LTS) release.

It comes with a simple, automated setup to help teams get started or migrate their existing Jenkins instance quickly. It is also available for easy install on the marketplaces of Amazon Web Services (video), Microsoft AzureDigitalOcean (video) and Google Cloud Platform (video).

It also comes with a recommended catalog of tested plugins available through the CloudBees Assurance Program. The Beekeeper Upgrade Assistant manages upgrades to the verified plugins, either automatically or on-demand.

If that’s not enough, you also get CloudBees Jenkins Advisor, a service that proactively identifies issues and makes recommendations tailored to your installation. Problems detected range from simple configuration issues to security and best practices concerns – all critical elements of enterprise Jenkins implementations.

Email us to find out more or to discuss adding on Jenkins Support to make your experience even better.

We can also introduce you to the advantages of utilising the CloudBees Core, CloudBees CodeShip, CloudBees DevOptics, CloudBees Flow and CloudBees Rollout solutions.
