Assurity appoints General Manager – Auckland to drive growth in land of opportunity

Assurity Consulting Limited (Assurity) announced that Katie Ham, currently People Experience Manager of the Auckland business, has been selected as Assurity’s new General Manager for Auckland. Ham will take up her new role on 1st December 2021.

Ham succeeds Steve Mitchell, who was promoted to the role of CEO on 1st November 2021.

We are confident that with Katie’s experience, talent, and drive, she will successfully steer the Auckland team, our business growth and further strengthen the company’s brand in the Auckland market.”

Ham has over 15 years in Business Operations, Management and HR. Ham increased the Auckland branch’s employee engagement score year on year and was instrumental in launching Assurity’s new values-led performance and growth framework. Ham also co-created and facilitated the Agile in HR education course throughout the business and has been nominated for the Assurity Values Awards every year since 2018.

Before joining Assurity in 2018, Ham was the Customer Service Centres Manager at Auckland Transport and the Business Support Manager at PwC London, UK.
